I’ve been a regular client of Mile Technologies for thirteen years. In fact, Louis Lopez is the
only I.T. professional I have used since moving to Houston. He has been able to solve any and all
problems related to the dedicated software I use now or have used in the past as well as problems
I’ve encountered with many common P.C.s I use at home or at work. In fact I recently purchased
my first MAC computer and I’m confident if I have any problems with this new platform he’ll be
able to handle them as well. I would also suggest that he is about the most accessible vendor of any
service I can think of; here or other places I’ve lived. Whenever I call his main line generally he picks
up himself even if he is helping one or more clients at the time. He can juggle phone calls and
multitask like no one I’ve ever seen. In person he can go through the O.S. and registry of a computer
at break neck speed and have it up and running in a matter of minutes. If an infection is present he
has a plethora of utility programs to deal with any common or not so common viruses or “bad guys”
as he calls them and in most cases will leave the program on my desk top for my future use. As well
he routinely shares with me and his other clients I’m sure the latest speed enhancing and virus
detection programs in his arsenal i.e. Combofix, Tdsskiller, Malwarebytes and ESET most recently.
Lastly his website miletechnologies.com allows him to share information, access many of his most
commonly used utilities and deploy these programs in real time remotely so neither he nor I have
to leave our desks in order to solve a computer problem! This makes it especially convenient because
unscheduled trips to literally anywhere are problematic for me. I would say that 90% of the time Louis
has me up and rolling without me having to stop what I’m doing at the time. He either logs on to the
affected computer, analyzes the problem and fixes it or tells me what needs to be done if its’ within
the scope of my abilities and following his directions I fix the problem myself and go on with my day.
Time management is an invaluable commodity in my world.
