Dulcie Green Wink – The Wink Law Firm, PLLC

I know that we are often exchanging wonderful remarks about Louis Lopez and Mile Technologies, Inc., but
because they came to my firm’s rescue today, I just wanted to let you know how personally grateful I am to
know Louis and Mile Technologies.

Yesterday at about 10:30 a.m., our Small Business Server went down. Because we host our own exchange
server, that meant that our e-mail went down, as well. We weren’t too worried, even upon learning that the
operating system software had become corrupted. After all, we had back-ups, etc. That’s when we learned
that, when Dell shipped the server to us in 2009 with our Small Business Server system software preloaded, Dell
shipped the WRONG operating system disks with the computer. . . a mistake that wouldn’t be noticed until we
had this kind of problem. We’re a sequel server shop. Neither Microsoft nor Dell had the right disks to send to us.
Dell actually suggested that we go on Ebay and BUY a set of the Small Business Server 2008 Premium disks, which
we’d already paid for and didn’t receive. (By the way, they’re going for about $1900 on Ebay. We checked.)
In the alternative, Dell said to just find someone with the disks and borrow them because, after all, we are a
licensed user and have all pertinent credentials.

This morning, I called Louis Lopez at Mile Technologies, hoping that his team might have a set of disks. Better
than that, Louis’ team worked with Marc remotely to get us up, running and back in business. From the very
first conversation, Marc Wink (who had been up since 2:30 a.m.) declared, “These guys know what they’re
doing and are incredibly helpful.”

I am especially grateful to Louis and his entire team at Mile Technologies, who I would not have known, but for
the Houston West Chamber of Commerce—the ones who truly are: In business. For business.
